Nadine Lavi is a NY-based teacher, dancer and writer. She teaches introductory and advanced composition/writing at various CUNY colleges to incoming freshman, and writes frequently on ballet for Dance International magazine, among others. In February 2008, she was invited to Switzerland to write about the Prix de Lausanne International Ballet Competition for Dance International; the article was added to the Prix's official press release material.
Nadine has danced with several companies and also teaches ballet.
An advocate of bunny rights, Nadine formed Madeleine House, to change legislation from categorizing bunnies as livestock to domestic
pets. She is currently at work on several articles, books and screenplays. Her new book, Facing the Blank.
