Dear friends of Dance:
The time has come again! it is summer and with this vibrant and beautiful weather THE LATIN CHOREOGRAPHERS FESTIVAL is back in it's 4th year season.
This up- and-coming dance festival is in its 4th year proudly presenting the work of talented established, new and rising choreographers from NYC and abroad.
Who with their experience, passion and commitment will have you travel through their minds, fears, ideas and dreams taking you on a ride that will transport you.
THE LATIN CHOREOGRAPHERS FESTIVAL is proud to have been in the fore front by creating the first annual concert dance Latin festival in New York, dedicated to empower our community. Presenting original choreography in the style of Contemporary Ballet, Modern and Contemporary Dance.
Artists Choreographers for the 2011 Festival:
ASZURE BARTON (Non –Latin Guest Artist), ELOY BARRAGAN BENJAMIN BRIONES, ALEJANDRO CHAVEZ, DAVID FERNANDEZ, MIGUEL ANGEL PALMEROS, TONY POWELL/PIEL MORENA CONTEMPORARY DANCE, DONNA SALGADO, ELLENORE SCOTT, ANTONIA URZUA, JULIETA VALERO, MARCOS VEDOVETO, URSULA VERDUZCO.
Location: Baruch Performing Arts Center, E. 25th St. between Lexington and 3rd Ave. New York, NY
Dates: August 4th, 5th and 6th
THE LATIN CHOREOGRAPHER FESTIVAL plays the following regular schedule:
Thursday, August 4th 8pm
Friday, August 5th 8pm
Saturday. August 6th 3pm
Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. To buy online, go to www.iatitheater.org. Tickets for seniors and students are $18 online and $20 at the theater door.
