- I was born in Israel on July 30, 1981, Tamir is STmambo's director and soul choreographer, as well as instructor, performer and artistic director of latin festivals around israel. At the age of 6 he started dancing and competing in professional figure skating. He has backround in Jazz, Hip-Hop and acting. It was clear from the beginning; he was born to be on the stage. when he was 18, Tamir found his true love- Salsa, That was love at first sight. He started teaching N.Y style, Cuban Style, L.A Style And more at the biggest salsa clubs in Israel. At the age of 23 Tamir has established his own dance studio - the studio of STmambo, in the center of Israel.There, he started teaching salsa, make his choreographies and organize the only socials and mambo parties in Israel.in 2005 Tamir has graduated with honors a chirography course at the University of Tel Aviv. If you cacth a show or a workshop by Tamir, you will be exposed to his unique smooth style, emotional connection to the music,strong body movement,original spinning styling and his own developed techniques.Another one of tamir's passions is working with kids. He has taught and choreographed salsa for kids all over the US, as well as in camps and community centers across Israel.Tamir is well known in the world's salsa scene. recent appearances include: New york, New jersey, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, London, and more. Tamir's current goals include performing and teaching around the world & continue expending his dance company, his studio and spreading his passion to Salsa.
